NCC Art Department Faculty

Katina Bozikis

Graphic design has been my passion most of my adult life. I graduated from Kutztown University with a degree in Art Education thinking that would be my chosen career. Fate had other plans for me. I took a job as a layout artist in the advertising department of Hess’s Department Store where I fell in love with design and advertising and for the next 30 years I never looked back. I followed my dream of becoming an Art Director and achieved that goal while working for the design firm of Dorshimer Graphics. My clients included some of the largest companies in the Lehigh Valley such as Air Products, Bethlehem Steel, Mack Trucks, AT&T, Binney & Smith, Rose Art Toys and Empire Beauty Schools. That experience ultimately led to a position as Creative Director of Marketing for Piercing Pagoda, the largest national jewelry chain in the US. It was a fun ride and perfect culmination of my advertising and retailing experience.

After so many years in the field I finally feel qualified enough to teach what I have always loved and lucky enough that NCC is giving me the opportunity to teach Packaging Design. My life now is divided between my educational endeavors at NCC and Bethlehem Vo-Tech and my love for my horse and the challenge of becoming the best Natural Horseman I can.
